# Elephants

> Elephants is a shared memory and operations assistant for small teams. You dump in whatever you want organized (PDFs, spreadsheets, emails, texts, or a photo of a sticky note) and it turns the mess into organized people, projects, tasks, and notes your whole team can use. You then manage everything by message, including over SMS.

Elephants is built for small teams that want to be organized without hiring someone whose job is to build and maintain systems — founders, operators, program managers, and nonprofit teams. Unlike blank-canvas tools (Notion, Airtable) or a traditional CRM, you don't design the structure yourself: the assistant reads your existing material and organizes it for you, and you add to it and query it in plain language.
